The Mascot of The World Cup La’eeb is Also Made in China

The mascot of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 La’eeb is one of the most popular collectible figurines this year, and its design, 3D modeling, and prototype proofing to mass production are all from the local industrial chain in China.

After the custom resin figure factory receives the La’eeb design drawing, the designer designs and models the shape of La’eeb’s resin figures, and then 3D printing. The sample is made by silicone mold according to the resin figure process, disassembling and optimizing according to the prototype. 

Every version change has to be re-proofed, which is a huge challenge for the factory’s production efficiency and production process. Through continuous process and packaging improvement, after eight versions of changes, it was finally recognized by the official organizing committee of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and approved by the king of Qatar, and finally stood out from the samples of more than 30 enterprises around the world and appeared in Qatar.
